Stefan Krüger will present the talk “How to write a great Master thesis” in O2 on 4th of February 2026 at 6:15pm local time (UTC+2). The talk will be in English.

The final thesis concludes every Bachelor’s and Master’s program. It is usually the first time you as students work systematically for a longer time on your own on a single topic and write up the results of this work in a scientific manner. Consequently, it is widely considered a huge and important part of any curriculum and grants up to 1/3 of all credit points a student may earn during their studies. Yet, curricula tend to focus on other topics, leaving many students feel unprepared for this unique challenge.

Am 05.02.2025 um 18:00 Uhr hält Stefan Krüger den Vortrag “Wie man eine hervorragende Bachelorarbeit schreibt” im Hörsaal O2. Nach dem Vortrag ist noch Zeit für Fragen & Diskussionen; anschließend gibt es Pizza. Der Vortrag findet im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe Scientific Working statt.

Am 18. Januar 2024 berichtete Dr. Martin Kage (Weidmüller Gruppe, Detmold) über seinen Weg von einem Studium in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen zu seiner leitenden Tätigkeit in der IT-Security. Prakhar Rathi (CS Group GmbH, Darmstadt) und Niladri Mondal (TU Ilmenau) berichteten über ihre Erfahrungen im Informatik Master an der Universität Paderborn und über die wichtigen Entscheidungen für den Schritt danach.
